Jeff's 1998 Type R is one of the fastest Type R's in the country...on an autocross course anyways. Jeff campaigns his R in the G Stock class of SCCA Solo II Competition. He is always at the top of the standings at SCCA CENDIV Solo II events, and it all culminated in a trip to the 2000 Solo II National Championships in Topeka, Kansas. At Nationals, Jeff was 4th after the first day, only .170 out of the lead just behind famous road racer, Neal Sapp. By the end of day two, Jeff had trophied and finished 9th overall in the incredibly competitive G Stock Class. Not bad for his second season of autocrossing (first on race tires) and his first trip to the Nationals. Watch out for this guy in 2001!
